Living in a household of people who are gifted with the ability to sense spirits can be be both a blessing and a curse. My children have inherited my mediumship abilities and so we always have interesting discussions at the dinner table. "Who did you see last night", " "who was whispering in your ear, again". For my husband who is NOT a medium, it can be a strange household to live in.
When you are tuned in, it is truly amazing the amount of spirits that are coming and going in your home. Myself and my children are used to it, but my poor husband finds it quite unnerving. That is what makes our dog his #1 fan.
Pets are great for detecting spirit activity. They do not have the filters that we humans put on ourselves. What I mean by filters, is the rhetoric we hear has children, such as, " Stop talking to your imaginary friend" or " Stop pretending, your too old for that." These filters shut downs ones own God given abilities to receive divine guidance, and to communicate with others on the other side.
Pets are pure innocence and love. They do not question their senses like we do. Our dog Emily, has been a God- send to my husband. She is his alarm system that there is an invisible visitor in our home. Sometimes she will get up and start growling at someone or something or she might start wagging her tail and rolling around on the floor with an invisible playmate.
Never underestimate what your pets are telling you. They are Gods earth angels, sent here to protect and love us. Next time Fluffy or Rover start to bark at the air or rubbing up against someone that you can't see, give them an extra treat or scratch behind the ear and say " Thank you".
